The TikTok #AntiSunscreen movement, now garnering millions of views, has spread misleading claims about sunscreen ingredients, fostering unnecessary fear and confusion, especially among younger users relying heavily on social media for health guidance. This letter examines the accuracy and reliability of #AntiSunscreen-related content on TikTok, a popular social media platform predominantly utilised by the younger generation by providing an evidence-based critique.
