Abstract

AbstractFormulas for electrical and heat conductivity are derived from the Boltzmann equation with Grad's method of orthogonalized moments, retaining the coupling between diffusion and heat fluxes. The results are expressed by transport collision frequencies. These are calculated for Coulomb interaction potentials screened with the Debye‐Hückel length. Quantum corrections to the classical results are included.
