Abstract
A novel method for measuring the reflection of fiber-optic devices with light carrier frequency dependence such as fiber resonators is proposed. and the design of an experiment based on the proposed principle is described. Results of the measurement of the power transmission and power reflection coefficients of a 20-cm Fabry-Perot-type fiber resonator are presented. It is concluded that the proposed method can provide a precise measurement of the reflection of fiber resonators. >
