Abstract
Objective Through determined serum lipids of type 2 diabetes mellitus with gallstone, and to discuss the effect factors of gallstone in diabetic patients. Methods All cases were divided into two groups: type 2 diabetes mellitus with gallstone(tests group) and type 2 diabetes mellitus without gallstone(control group).We defected the levels of serum lipids, glucose, insulin and evaluating insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) to discuss the high-risk factors of gallstone in diabetic patients. Results The levels of insulin, HOMA-IR, HDL-C, LDL-C, ApoA1 and ApoB were significant different in the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusions There are relations between insulin resistance and gallstone in type 2 diabetes mellitus. Gallstone maybe related to ascendant of LDL-C and ApoB, and to decreased HDL-C and ApoA1.There is no report of deceased lipid which maybe play a role in preventing the development of gallstone.
