Abstract

Background: Background: Pancreatic resection is the treatment of choice for NF-PNETs and minimally invasive surgery (MIS) is gaining popularity in pancreatic surgery. However, it remains controversial whether MIS should be preferred over open surgery (OS) in NF-PNETs treatment. This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to assess the potential advantages of MIS over OS regarding perioperative morbidity and mortality for patients with NF-PNETs.
