Abstract

Objective To compare the clinical observation of painless LASEK with-corneal flap and without-corneal flap treatment of myopia.Methods 150 patients(300 eyes)patients were removed one eye corneal epithelium flap for expirmental group patients randomly,and reserved corneal epithelium flap for control group.Patients were followed up 6 months.The main index was corneal epithelium healing time,postoperative stimulating symptoms,postoperative best corrected visual acuity and degree of under the corneal epithelium mist shape cloudy(haze).Results After operation,without-corneal flap group corneal epithelium healing time average(3.60 ± 0.34)days,and the control group for(3.02 ±-0.40)days(t =13.53,P =0.000),there was significant difference between the two groups; Pain-free reaction without-corneal flap group in 123 eyes(82%),and the control group in 141 eyes(94%)(x2 =10.23,P =0.0014)had significant difference between the two groups; Postoperative a week,visual acuity > 0.8 of without-corneal flap group in 141 eyes(94%),and the control group in 144 eyes(96%),(x2 =0.63,P =0.4268)no significant difference.Six months after surgery the meet or exceeded the preoperative best corrected visual acuity without-comeal flap group in 147 eyes(98%),and the control group in 147 eyes(98%)no significant difference.Postoperative 0 level haze of without-corneal flap group in 135 eyes(90%),and the control group in 141 eyes(94%)(x2 =1.63,P =0.2016)no significant difference.Conclusion Try to keep the activity of the flap.We can remove skin flap if found it deacte,to the best of our abilities to try to keep high energy on the flap in painless LASEK..
