Abstract

Most current vision screening devices test for refractive risk factors with suboptimal sensitivity and specificity for detection of amblyopia and strabismus, leading to under-detection and over-referral. Recently the blinq vision scanner, which detects amblyopia and strabismus directly via a retinal scan, was released. We conducted a clinical study to evaluate its accuracy.
