Abstract

The article studies the prevalence of odontogenic inflammatory diseases of the maxillofacial region according to the data from the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Dentistry of the Clinics of Samara State Medical University. It was revealed that the incidence of diffuse inflammation depends upon the causative tooth, the incidence of out-patients visits. The morbidity depending on the age and sex of patients was studied. The incidence of odontogenic abscesses localized in various places was evaluated. Comorbidity in patients with odontogenic inflammatory processes was also investigated.
