Abstract

The purpose of the study: to assess the state of endogenous intoxication, taking into account the study of the sorption capacity of erythrocytes and the level of middle molecule peptides and nitric oxide in patients with acantholytic pemphigus, and identify its role in the course of this dermatosis. Material and methods of the research: clinical, cytological, biochemical, immunological, and statisti cal methods of research were used in patients with acantholytic pemphigus. Results of the study: in patients with acantholytic pemphigus, endogenous intoxication of the body develops, which is expressed by an increase in the sorption capacity of erythrocytes and the level of middle molecule peptides and nitric oxide. Moreover, an increase in the content of endogenous toxins in the blood serum, in particular, middle molecule peptides and nitric oxide, determines the severity of the clinical course in patients with acantholytic pemphigus.
