Abstract

Abstract A number of acaricides were tested for efficacy against citrus red mite in a lemon grove in Riverside, California. Treatments were applied on Apr 23-24 by handgun (450 psi) with about 1200 gal per acre, or 10-15 gal per tree. There were four single-tree replicates per treatment. Adult female mites were counted on 32 leaves per tree (8 terminals).
