Abstract
Cisco has launched a family of multi-function security appliances that integrates VPN, firewalling, and intrusion prevention technologies. The SANS training group has released the worst vulnerabilities of 2005 chosen from 600 flaws, which have been found so far. Vulnerabilities in Symantec, and F-secure products have entered the critical list as well as holes in Computer Associates and Oracle software. As expected most of the holes are in Microsoft systems.
