Abstract

Possible boundary conditions for the cell model used in describing the behavior of a traveling swarm of spherical particles are considered. Gas-liquid systems are used to illustrate the effect of considered boundary conditions (Happel, Kuwabara, Slobodov-Chepura) on the calculated values of the components of the velocity field and the velocity of the swarm of bubbles traveling through a non-Newtonian disperse liquid medium.
