Abstract
Abstract Monodentate phosphoramidites, in particular PipPhos and MorfPhos, are excellent ligands for the rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of dimethyl itaconate and methyl 2-acetamidoacrylate acid in supercritical CO2 (up to 99% ee, 100% conversion after 35–50 min) using 1 mol% of the catalysts and the high total pressure (200 atm).
