Abstract

Treatment of paraphiliacs in North America has met with long— term success. As a result, the treatment, especially of exhibitionism, frotteurism (scopophilias) voyeurism, and fetishism, in terms of fiscal responsibility, is estimated at over $169.000 per offender. Our experience using Chinese Style Psychoanalysis has been more positive and the success rate is very high. This paper describes our methods and includes case histories of our work with sexual paraphiliacs, from which readers should find useful ideas. Our Chinese Style Psychoanalysis focuses on analyzing the patient's infantile behaviors. We use their easily remembered experiences, which happened in their childhood as evidence. Then we keep moving until our patients achieve insight and understand that their paraphilic behaviors and impulses are molded by their childhood psychology and behaviors, are using childhood amusement to meet adult sexuality.
