Abstract

Economic growth is inseparable from the energy component. The use of electricity creates problems such as pollution and increased carbon emissions. This is especially true of the coal industry. In China's Inner Mongolia region, there is a need to restructure and diversify coal mining and processing, in particular in order to respond to social and economic challenges in some areas. The creation of new industrial clusters based on knowledge-intensive technologies for the extraction and integrated processing of coal minerals is becoming an important area of development. The article describes the current situation with coal reserves in Inner Mongolia, which is closely related to the implementation of the national development plan of the West of China. Taking into account the diversified development of the coal industry in Inner Mongolia, its geographical location and transportation problems, it is proposed to create a territorial-industrial complex for integrated processing of domestic raw materials resources.
