Abstract
A case of Chiari's syndrome, idiopathic obliterative endophlebitis of the hepatic veins, is presented with the clinical and pathologic findings. A distinction is made between obliterative endophlebitis of the hepatic veins as seen in this syndrome and occlusion due to other intrahepatic or extrahepatic diseases in which the hepatic veins are secondarily involved.
