Abstract

The non-Dirac two level systems are characterized by their non linear spectrum in kx and ky. We show that the topological phases emerge in Cu2S/MnSe and PbC/MnSe, the non-Dirac heterostructures, in the presence of electromagnetic field and SOC. It is observed that the gap can be tuned when polarized light is incident on the heterostructure by interplay of SOC and incident light. We show variation in Chern state as polarization and field strength is varied. The Chern state of Cu2S/MnSe undergoes a transition from -1 to +1 as the gap is tuned. We also calculate the photo-induced anomalous Hall conductivity of the heterostructures.
