Abstract

AbstractChemisorption and TPD measurements with H2 using l wt.°/o Pt/y‐AI2O3 and 1 wt.% Pt/ SiO2 catalysts (prepared by the impregnation method) indicate that heat treatment at 700°C with rapid cooling in liquid N2 can generate a higher population of more active sites for catalysis, which might be equivalent to corner atoms.
