AbstractEight kinds of self ‐ comple‐ mentary tetradeoxyribonucleoside triphosphates (VIII)‐(XV) are prepared b‐y a simplified method which allows omission of the purification of synthetic intermediates and provides the tetramers very rapidly and conveniently: The protected nucleosides (Ia), (Id) are converted into the derivatives (Ib), (Ie) or (Ic), (If); the more advantageously protected guanosine derivatives (IVa), (IVb) are prepared from (Ie), (If).
