AbstractBenzal‐acetophenon (I) bildet mit" Trimethylphosphit (II) bei 50°C während 50 Stdn. das Phosphoran (III), das sich in Äther mit wenig Wasser zum Keto‐phosphonat (IV) verseifen läßt. Wird die Umsetzung von (I) mit (II) in Essigsäure durchgeführt, so kann (IV) in einem einzigen Reaktionsgang erhalten werden.
