AbstractThe phenyl selenoesters (I), (III), (V), and (VII) undergo intramolecular free‐radical cyclization upon treatment with tri‐n‐butyltin hydride/AIBN to form the cyclic proucts (II), (IV), (VI), or (VIII) via acyl radical intermediates.
