Abstract

This articles explores the mixed convection flow of viscoelastic fluid due to astretching cylinder. Heat transfer analysis has been carried out. Energy equation in presence of thermal radiations is taken in to accunt. Convective boundary conditions for heat and mass transfer are employed on the surface of the stretching cylinder. Appropriate transformations are used to reduced the governing nonlinear partial di⁄erential equations into ordinary di⁄erential equations. The transformed equations. The resulting differential equations along with the subjected boundary conditions are solved analytically by using homotopy analysis method (HAM) for obtaining the convergent series solutions. Impacts of physical parameters on the velocityand temperature elds are analyzed. Numerical values of local Nusselt number are computed andanalyzed.
