Abstract
Theoretical solution to the problem of flow past an impulsively started infinite vertical plate in the presence of uniform heat flux and variable mass diffusion are presented here, taking into account the homogeneous chemical reaction of first-order. The dimensionless governing equations are solved using Laplace-transform technique. The velocity, temperature and concentration profiles are shown on graphs. It is observed that the velocity as well as concentration decreases with increasing the chemical reaction parameter.
