Abstract

Chemical engineering students thinking about working in industry got an earful of advice at a forum on career paths held last month at the annual meeting of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers in Miami Beach. The no-holds-barred session covered the gamut of issues from how to choose a career to coping with change and learning the ingredients for success. When planning a career, think about what makes happy—whether it's turning a wrench or computer modeling, urged forum chairwoman Katherine W.
