Abstract

The stingless honey bee (Trigona sp) has various types, one of which is Heterotrigona itama. Currently, in East Kalimantan, especially in Samarinda, many kelulut honey is meliponiculture, namely in North Samarinda Sub district in Tanah Merah village, Lubuk sawah village and Gunung Lingai village. Are there differences in the chemical components, pollen and bioactivity of kelulut honey (H. itama) in several villages in Samarinda. The purpose of this study was to obtain information on the chemical components, pollen and bioactivity of kelulut honey (H. itama) meliponiculture from several villages in Samarinda. The research method is taking honey directly from the location of kelulut honey meliponiculture. The honey obtained is analyzed in the laboratory for the parameters of chemical components, pollen and honey bioactivity. The data obtained is processed with average values and presented in tables or graphs. The data obtained is processed with average values and presented in tables or graphs. The results showed that stingless honey bee kelulut (H. itama) had chemical components in the form of flavonoids and coumarins. Pollen found in H. itama from Tanah Merah village came from 8 species, Lubuk Sawah 10 species, Gunung Linagei 7 species, the type of unit is monand, pollen size is medium to very large, pollen forms are oblate spheroidal, prolate spheroidal, subprolate and pollen ornament consists of eschinate, psilate, scabrate and verrucate. Inhibition against DPPH 3 from honey was 68.87% -61.75% and antimicrobial Staphylococcus aureus.19.22 mm-15.78 mm (strong) and Eschercia coli 17.44 mm-22.58 mm (strong-very strong).
