Abstract
A simple microscopic model for the charge distribution of the localized d z 2 holes along the pt chain in doped Magnus' Green Salt provides excellent agreement with the observed superhyperfine pattern. It is thus confirmed that the observed superhyperfine pattern is due to the interaction of the bound hole with the Pt nuclei along the Pt chain and not with the ligand nuclei.
