Abstract

PM10 samples were collected at five sampling sites in city center of Shenyang from April 2008 to January 2009. The ambient concentrations of 17 selected polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in PM10 were quantified. Spatial and seasonal variations of PAHs were characterized. Based on its BaP and BaP equivalent concentration (BaPeq), the health risk of PAHs in Shenyang was assessed.
