Abstract
The results of investigations of the low power X-ray tubes with transmission anode, constructed in the Institute of Physics and Nuclear Techniques (IPNT) are presented. The X-ray spectra for copper, molybdenum and silver anodes were measured and the yield of the tube with the silver anode was compared with the yield of an 109Cdsource. The one-day and the several-days yield stabilities were checked. The conclusions and the perspectives of further studies are also given.
