Abstract

This chapter examines some concepts that are taken from more formal network synthesis procedures. The chapter discusses few topics that illustrates the use of the Laplace transforms and presents some ideas to provide a good understanding of the first principles of formal network synthesis. The chapter presents an independent method, which has the resistive termination at the output end rather than at the input. All the examples presented in the chapter are chosen from the class of low-pass filters.
