Abstract

The previous chapter focused on the critical issue of diagnosing the exact causes of employee turnover. This chapter and the next three chapters identify the employee needs that cause turnover. Chapter 6 discusses employee needs that occur at the time an individual joins the organization. The corresponding solutions, which address these employee needs, provide suggestions on howemployers can address turnover issues. Table 6-1 shows the first six categories along with the corresponding needs and solutions.
