Abstract

Laser processing techniques of materials have become important scientific tools for enhancing functional properties or revealing new ones of already known complex materials. By using these techniques, new materials can be processed as thin films or different kinds of nanostructures such as nanoparticles, nanosheets, and nanodots. Enhancing certain properties of a particular material is a challenging task and is even more difficult if complex stoichiometry materials are involved. Following this point of view, increasing or revealing new properties of perovskite materials is a never-ending task. The engineering of perovskite epitaxial thin film growth provides an open playground for achieving enhanced functionalities or completely new ones as electronic transport properties or coupling between different order parameters. However, there are lots of reports on these materials regarding their multifunctionality and exceptional properties, and we hope to add new ones to this story by showing how functional properties of lead-free perovskite materials processed by PLD can be changed or enhanced.
