Abstract
With recent advances in synthesis and assembly techniques, biosensors based on all kinds of nanomaterials have attracted significant attention from the scientific community, due to their outstanding optical, electronic, and chemical properties for widespread applications. In this chapter, we report some supplementary materials that have been applied in protein assays for clinical use, so as to provide a comprehensive view of the progress made in this field. In this manner, the whole part II will provide guidance for future application development, as well as a summary of the remaining challenges confronting this field.
