Abstract
The natural history of tuberculosis begins with the inhalation of Mycobacterium tuberculosis organisms. Mycobacterium tuberculosis (M.tb) forms into an active, clinically silent, and latent infection. It said that one-third of the world’s population infected by M.tb, most of them are asymptomatic and become latent tuberculosis infection especially in people with immunocompromised conditions, for example, HIV/AIDS, DM, malnutrition, on chemotherapy or steroids therapy, and antitumor therapy necrosis factor. Only about 5%-10% suffer from active tuberculosis infection.
