Abstract
Palladium-catalyzed CH bond functionalization is an important tool in modern organic synthesis and catalysis, and has become an attractive alternative to traditional cross-coupling reactions. Several mechanistic pathways are known for such transformations that have been critically analyzed as a part of this chapter to assist the readers in identifying the possible mechanisms followed by the various catalytic processes in their research groups.
