Abstract

This is a continuation of the topic from our previous two chapters on the subject of multivariate calibration transfer (or calibration transfer) for spectroscopy. As we noted in the previous chapters on this subject, calibration transfer is a series of approaches or techniques used to apply a single spectral database, or the calibration models developed using that database, to two or more instruments. Those instruments may be of like or different optical design. In this installment we are reviewing some of the mathematical or chemometric approaches and issues related to the calibration transfer process.
