Abstract

The purpose of this chapter is to provide supervisors with the information they need to avoid ethical dilemmas associated with supervision. We begin by highlighting many of the pitfalls other supervisors have experienced up to this point. We focus on maintaining confidentiality, avoiding multiple relationships, and ensuring trainees are progressing throughout the supervision relationship, to name just a few examples.
