Abstract

Cognitive Radio Network (CRN) is a technology which allows the secondary users (SUs) to transmit the data through the channels that are not utilized by the primary users (PUs), ensuring maximum utilization of the resources. In this paper we study the effect of both channel exploration order and stopping rule and thereby selects the channel which ensures SUs maximum throughput. The algorithm we proposed model the activity history of channel and PUs activity and make the best decision with the help of SUs exploration result. From the simulation part we can see that the algorithm maximizes SUs throughput when comparing with other existing methods.
