Abstract

Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technology, which can effectively combat frequency-selective fading properties caused by multi-path transmission, is the preferred scheme for low-voltage power line communication. Channel estimation is one of the crucial problems in OFDM system. In view of the actual channel transmission characteristics of Low-voltage power line, an adaptive variable step-size algorithm based on fuzzy inference (AVSF) is proposed, when a large noise signal appears, fuzzy reference can map the input variable into the suitable step gain in the output to enhance the ability of combating interference. The simulation results show the algorithm has good estimation performance, which can track the varying channel over low-voltage power line.
