Abstract

Data on changes in the phenetical structure of populations of the Colorado potato beetle Leptinotarsa decemlineata Say in the Southern Urals (territory of the Republic of Bashkortostan) are presented. A decrease in the level of phenetical polymorphism between 1994 and 2002 was registered. The results of laboratory experiments give us good grounds to believe that the selective effect of insecticides is the main reason for the decrease in the level of intrapopulation polymorphism.
