Abstract

ABSTRACT With Joe Biden’s administration, there will be a comeback to the US as the free world’s leader. The transatlantic relation will face crucial challenges; cooperation is the key between allies. Trade disputes are not solved, but Biden could eliminate duties on some European goods. China is the biggest challenge for the US and the EU, both economically and geopolitically. The US administration will closely work with the allies and the international organizations: despite differences in terms of interest will persist, political and economic issues will be approached inclusively by the new US president. Historically, the US and the EU share common values, which will be strengthened and stressed under the Biden administration.
