Abstract

A summer school on neutron scattering, the fifth in a continuing series, was held at Chalk River Laboratories during the week of June 22–26, 1998. The event was jointly funded by the Canadian Institute for Neutron Scattering and the National Research Council of Canada. The school attracted thirty participants, mostly from across Canada and the US, but also from Europe and Asia. More than half of the lecturers were invited speakers from universities and other neutron laboratories, with the balance made up of the Chalk River staff.
