Abstract
This building, located on a lot of more than 41 hactares, close to the Corporation's main offices, is destined to research and development in the paper industry. The 32,700 m 2 of constructed surface is occupied by laboratories, pilot plants, offices, library and dining room for its 560 employees. The building's three floors, with an irregular and staggered look, branch out around the center access and reception area, with the different functions being radially organized around this center core, thus permitting future expansion of the building in different directions. Flexibility was one of the main requisites and this has been satisfied by a pre-fabricated structure as well as by the exterior aluminum siding which can be dismounted and put back in place. In general, the architectonic layout successfully provides human characteristics to an eminently industrial building, making it very attractive and integrating it in the natural beauty of the rural area in which it is located.

Dieser Bau, der sich in der Náhe der Zentrale der Korperschaft auf einer Parzelle von iiber 41 Ha befindet, ist für die Forschung und die Entwickiung der Papierindustrie bestimmt. Los 32.700 m^ edificados están ocupados por laboratorios, plantas piloto, oficinas, biblioteca, y comedor para los 560 empleados. Las tres plantas en que se resuelve la edificación, de aspecto irregular y escalonado, se vertebran en torno a un núcleo central de accesos y de recepción, alrededor del cual se organizan radialmente las diversas funciones, permitiendo la futura expansión del edificio en direcciones distintas.
