Abstract

Several questions regarding the safety and efficacy of vaccines have generated resistance to vaccination and brought instability to the health of the population. Objective: to evaluate the causes of resistance to vaccination and explain how nurses can solve this problem. Method: Narrative review study. Results: The widespread presence of misinformation among the population about vaccination highlights the importance of proactive action by nurses to dispel myths related to vaccination. Conclusion: Nurses should engage in educational practices, increasing awareness among the population.
