Abstract

Louisiana State University Libraries has improved its technical processes by incorporating two new services. The Libraries receives approval and firm orders shelf-ready from its primary monograph vendor, YBP, and receives bibliographic records from PromptCat. Using these services also shaped, in part, the technical services division's administrative structure when it was recently reorganized. The Libraries has worked cooperatively with YBP and PromptCat to alleviate problems associated with these services.
