Abstract

A rare case of carotid body tumour extending into jugular foramen mimicing the vagal body tumour is reported. Carotid angiography should be performed to differentiate between the various lateral cervical swellings. Early excision of carotid body tumour is advised to avoid the vascular and neurological complicatins because of the tumour.
