Abstract

The article focuses on a thematic analysis of 292 cardboard signs collected by artist Willie Baronet over the summer of 2014 in 24 cities in the United States from homeless people. It states a quantitative content analysis was done on the text of the signs which were then double-coded. It talks about the themes underscoring challenges that people experiencing homelessness and poverty face.
