Abstract
Abstract The reflectances of different carbon-graphite materials in the SMM range are shown to be in the interval from to 80–90 %. The SMM beam attenuation and polarization conservation of oversized graphite waveguides are close to analogous characteristics of dielectric waveguides. Redeposited carbon film on diagnostic windows causes only weak change of their transmissivity in the SMM range. The results obtained indicate that carbon-graphite materials are promising for manufacturing those diagnostic element that have to be placed near the hot plasma.
