The Operational Mechanism of Agricultural Products Supply Chain Finance Based on the Mode-Capability-Customer Matching Approach
  • Dec 1, 2023
  • Sustainability
  • Yang Li + 1 more

The key to successful agricultural product supply chain finance of commercial banks lies in coordinating the relationship among the “supply chain finance model”, “banking serviceability”, and “user satisfaction”. Previous research on agricultural products supply chain finance rarely incorporated the operational level of commercial banks. To fill this gap, this paper transforms the operational problem of the agricultural product supply chain finance of commercial banks into a matching problem between the agricultural product supply chain finance model and customers under the constraint of serviceability. First, a matching model of “mode-capability-customer” of agricultural products supply chain finance is constructed based on the theory of bilateral matching; second, a measurement index system of matching degree and satisfaction is constructed, where matching degree and satisfaction are calculated; finally, the optimal matching model is studied. This paper proposes a model that matches agricultural supply chain finance with customer satisfaction, considering bank serviceability constraints. It improves the implementation of agricultural product supply chain finance by commercial banks. The study uses surveys and evaluations to assess stakeholder satisfaction and preferences. An operational research model optimizes the matching process between supply chain finance models and recipients, ensuring suitability. The paper provides a theoretical basis for rural financial services and practical recommendations for commercial bank supply chain finance, with valuable real-world applications.

  • Yueliang Su + 1 more

The innovation of supply chain financial services can alleviate the plight of SMEs financing difficulties. In the aspect of supply chain finance model, there is a credit guarantee financing model, which is different from the simple external financing and internal financing mode of supply chain. Based on this, this paper studies the decision-making of supply chain finance under the partial credit guarantee of core enterprises. First of all, the paper constructs a simple supply chain financing model, consisting of a bank, a core enterprise and a retailer. And then, considering the credit guarantee financing model, calculate the expected profit function. Stackelberg game model is used to give the optimal decision of each subject in decentralized system and the optimal decision in centralized system. Finally, in order to make a more specific and detailed study on the profit and decision-making based on the credit guarantee financing model, the important parameters of the model are analyzed. Through the calculation, it is proved that under the credit guarantee of the core enterprise, the retailer has the optimal ordering strategy, and the core enterprise has the best wholesale price. The influences of the partial credit guarantee coefficient and the retailer’s loan coefficient on the supply chain finance decision-making are also studied.

  • Wasiaturrahma + 4 more

This study aims to analyze the efficiency performance of conventional and Islamic rural banks in Indonesia, specifically, Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) and Bank Pembiayaan Rakyat Syariah (BPRS). Using a DEA approach, the results indicate that both BPR and BPRS are still inefficient in terms of the intermediation role but are efficient in production. Furthermore, the Tobit estimation show that these two efficiency results are positively affected by location and the capital adequacy ratio (CAR). These rural banks operating in cities tend to have a higher level of efficiency than otherwise. Moreover, the higher the capital, the more efficient both Islamic and conventional rural banks in terms of production and intermediation.

Comparative Business Characteristics Of Islamic Financial Institutions And Traditional Banks
  • Oct 31, 2020
  • Magomed Tashtamirov + 4 more

This paper identifies the distinctive features of Islamic financial institutions and traditional secular banks based on loan interest. The relevance of this study is caused by the need to assess the integration of the Islamic financial model into the financial system of national economies with the non-Muslim population. In recent years, Western European countries have taken an active interest in increasing cooperation with Islamic banks from the Persian Gulf countries thus expanding their activities and transforming their financial relations. Such cooperation is based on the complementarity of two financial models of banking. This issue is particularly acute given the increase in sanctions pressure and the ban on Russia’s largest banks to attract funding from many Western countries for more than 30 days. But in order to achieve effective synergy between the two models it is important to make a comparative analysis thus providing theoretical and methodological integration. The paper presents a brief description of the development of the Islamic financial activity model. The concept of activities of Islamic financial institutions in the classification of transactions carried out by Islamic banks and other organizations engaged in insurance, trade and settlement activities is considered. The approaches of the scientific community to assessing the efficiency of Islamic financial institutions are reviewed. The main differences between Islamic financial institutions and secular commercial banks are systematized and grouped by classification criterion with identification of their peculiarities. The main structural, standard, regulatory, and infrastructure problems in the development of the Islamic financial model are defined.
