CAN FOREST MANAGEMENT SAFELY EMULATE NATURAL DISTURBANCES AND LANDSCAPE PATTERNS IN PRECAMBRIAN SHIELD SHORELINE FORESTS?Shoreline (riparian) forests are not excluded from Ontario's Crown Forest Sustainability Act (CFSA) requirement to emulate natural disturbance and landscape patterns during forest management.
