Abstract

BCHC has responded to these CAM information needs by appointing a Research Officer to communicate the most relevant and recent research about CAM to people with cancer, health care professionals and CAM therapists. Alongside the Librarian and Helpline staff at BCHC, the Research Officer is beginning to build up a unique information service. This information service will hopefully fill the gaps left by other major providers of information about CAM (e.g. CAMEOL, CAM-Cancer, NCCAM etc.). transforming attitudes to cancer
